Project Scope
The goals of the biweekly CUTR Transportation Webcast series are:
- To increase the knowledge of transportation professionals and policymakers in Florida, the U.S. and beyond by sharing the latest findings of transportation research.
- To increase the reach of technology transfer, especially to those transportation professionals who are unable to travel to state and national conferences, due to time and cost constraints.
- To encourage discussion among participants and receive input on subjects requiring future research.
Tasks/Deliverables
Task 1: Webinar Coordination and Planning
- Identify dates for webinar series. Over the calendar year, we will hold 15 to 20 webinars generally every other week.
- Solicit topic submissions for the webinar series (work with both internal and external clients and partners)
- Schedule topics and presenters, based on availability – send necessary calendar appointments
- The following items are collected per webinar and posted to the website with an add to calendar file:
- Title
- Description
- Biography(ies) for all speakers
- High resolution headshots
- Effectively promote each session
- Website post
- Facebook post/event
- Monthly CUTR Transportation Webcast eNewsletter, includes
- Lists upcoming webinars
- Contains links to previously recorded webinars
- As needed, coordinate an orientation/rehearsal/planning session for each webinar presenter
Task 2: Delivery of Content
- The following items are required to be submitted by the presenter prior to delivery (ideally, 72 hours in advance)
- Final PowerPoint Presentation
- 3 – 4 follow-up questions while we wait for attendees’ questions to be submitted online
- Uploaded the following items to the webinar software
- Unless requested by presenter otherwise, a PDF handout of the slides will be made available for downloading by the attendees
- Final PowerPoint Presentation
- Moderate each webinar, as needed
- Record the audio and PowerPoint presentation component of each webcast
Task 3: Post Webinar Activities
- Compile session evaluations, review evaluations and recommend improvements based on recommendations
- Review each webinar session evaluation for recommended session topics or speakers
- Update each website webinar post with webinar recording and link to evaluation
- Submit total contact hours for webinar
- Add attendees to CUTR mailing list for future announcements, etc.
