Goal: To increase alternative mode usage and reduce employee vehicle miles traveled. 

Hours: 

Target: AMU rate of 15% first year, 20% second year, and 25% in the third year, capping at 40%. VMT reduction must be 20% reduction in the baseline year and 25% in the third year with a cap of 40%. 

Results: 

Scope: All employers with 100 or more full time employees at a single or contiguous work site. Those with less than 100, may opt to participate. 

Requirements: 

Mandatory: onsite ETC, annual survey, annual plan, and annual distribution of information. 

Voluntary: bicycle facilities, carpool preferential parking, transit fare subsidies, flexhours, and facility improvements 

Managing entity: Dept. of Environmental Quality 

Monitor: Documentation of implementation is required 

Enforce: Failure to meet TRP goals will lead to a modification of the program to increase the likelihood that the employer meets its goals
