TRB’s Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) Synthesis 62: Integration of Bicycles and Transit examines how transit agencies may improve their existing services and assist other communities in developing new bicycle and transit services.  Synthesis 62 updates TCRP Synthesis 4: Integration of Bicycles and Transit (1994).

Analyzing the Effectiveness of Commuter Benefits Programs http://gulliver.trb.org/publications/tcrp/tcrp_rpt_107.pdf (84p) includes guidance on evaluating the effectiveness of a transit benefits program and information on how a transit benefits program can be designed and implemented to more effectively meet goals and objectives. The report also summarizes research on the impacts of transit benefits programs on travel behavior and on transit agencies’ system -wide ridership, revenues, and costs.
