U.S. Census 2000 - Carpool Share by State

The Hawaii remains the state with the highest carpool share at nearly 18%.  remain the four states with the lowest drive alone rates.  New York, Ohio, Kansas and the District of Columbia have the lowest carpool rates.

Idaho, Oregon, Wyoming, South Dakota, California, Arizona, Washington, and Montana moved up in ranking by at least 10 spots.
