Journal of Public Transportation Editorial Board Discusses Bus Rapid Transit

On August 15, the Journal of Public Transportation (JPT) at the National Center for Transit Research presented a live webcast on the subject of BRT. A distinguished panel of nationally recognized members of the Editorial Board of the JPT provided their views on vital questions, such as:

What do you think are examples of successful BRT projects in the USA?
What do you see as some of the strengths and weaknesses of BRT systems?
Given the tremendous variation in the size and components of BRT systems, how important is it to develop a consensus definition of BRT?
Do you have any thoughts on the best way to handle BRT in the reauthorization of TEA-21?
